Welcome to this food blog!

We are a community that meets in Manhattan once a week to practice inner stillness (meditation), reflect on a weekly reading with each other, and share dinner together. You can find out more about the Awakin community here.

We created this blog to share recipes for the food served at the gatherings and also any other recipes people feel moved to share with the community. All of these recipes are vegetarian, and most are vegan. Many are gluten-free as well.
